One of the two mares I got from this Auction. I fell in love with this beauty first and I got her.

Eva is elegant and refined. She has good paces but can be difficult to ride because her rider must meet her standards. If they do then she will need only a light hand to know what to do, if they don't then they will not be going anywhere. Eva loves attention and is very flashy in the show ring though she is swift on the track.

Sile sat in the auction ring watching the people file in. There weren't quite as many which surprised her for she knew Harlequines were quite desirable, then again that meant there would be not as much trouble if there was a horse that she liked, that gave her a guilty pleasure. The sound of the announcer made her turn and focus on the ring.

The first horse was mostly white though she did have that lip paint that made it look like it was smiling, that was a common marking found in some Harlequines. It wasn't bad, but it didn't catch her attention and it was sold off. The next horse was quite something, a attractive creature that caught some eyes, Sile's too but she didn't want to get involved so she kept silent.

After the beauty moved off the next horse was led in and Sile sat up straight. The mare was beautiful. Like the first horse she had more white, but she have a red diamond shaped blaze on her face. Around her neck was a pattern that looked like a black and red necklace with a diamond charm. Her knees were red and black with stripes going down to her black striped, red hooves.

The best part of all was the red that curved around her amber eyes then went up with a coy swirl. She was beautiful, pure and simple and Sile quickly raised her voice then nearly burst when she got the beautiful mare.

Later during the break she went to meet her new horse. The mare was standing in her stall, eating some hay. She lifted her head to regard her new owner then dropped her snowy muzzle back as Sile petted her neck.

"I got the perfect name for you, Evanjelin."

Well...I would say she's good. I did kind of use a breyer horse model for her body, especially those legs, but I think she turned out well.

Her name is from Petshop of Horrors: Destruction with a famous singer named Evanjelin Blue (called Eva for short) who is said to be the best singer but rather vain and committed suicide by throwing herself overboard (later returning as a mermaid creature and getting her vengeance...gory but good in a strange sense).
